Brittany & Sawyer’s Engagement Photography Session at Headwaters State Park near Three Forks was an absolute dream, and honestly, we couldn’t have hoped for a more beautiful January day.
The more I photograph at Headwaters State Park the more it is becoming a favorite location of mine. I love the rugged landscape and the sunsets are unreal! (Scroll to the bottom to see what I mean). While it is a super cool spot there are also a lot of challenges, harsh sunlight & wind to name a couple. But one of the wisest things I have heard regarding photography and art, in general, is that challenges, force you to be more creative and create better work.
Brittany and Sawyer were so much fun to work with and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of their wedding day. I had briefly known Brittany prior to her engagement, and we were able to reconnect at the Bozeman bridal show in October.
They had gotten engaged earlier this year out east. They woke up early in the morning and ended up hiking up the longest waterfall. When they got to the top. completely exhausted, Sawyer proposed, making the difficult journey well worth it.
Brittany & Sawyer will be getting married on September 10th at the Chateau Events Center in Bozeman.
