The White Raven can be found a mere 25-minute journey west of Downtown Missoula, nestled in the heart of northwestern Montana. This exquisite location is perched on a mountain plateau, with a panoramic view of the Clark Fork River. The scenery is truly breathtaking, with towering stone cliffs and majestic pines standing sentinel over meadows strewn with wildflowers, providing a spectacular setting for any event.

When you make your way into the venue, you’re greeted by the stunning main lodge, a fine representation of architectural excellence. The White Raven features a sophisticated blend of urban chic and rustic mountain lodges. It boasts a number of impressive amenities including a lavish ballroom, a grand foyer for gathering, and a myriad of outdoor spaces such as covered verandas, patios, trails, and gardens. It’s versatile enough to host multiple ceremony locations and is equipped with superior facilities to accommodate events of up to 125 guests, irrespective of the weather conditions.

As a wedding photographer, I am always blown away by the stunning natural beauty and incredible photo opportunities the white raven offers. Guests can capture memorable moments amid the mountaintop gardens, along the banks of the Clark Fork River, within the sprawling White Raven Backcountry, the verdant Lolo National Forest, or against the dramatic backdrop of the Natural Pier bridge.

One of the coolest aspects in regard to photographing weddings here is that the venue owners allow the photographer and couple to use a UTV to travel around the 180-acre venue for portraits. This helps us access more of the locations the White Raven has to offer, and lets you get back to celebrating with your guests even sooner!

As the sun dips beneath the horizon, casting a golden glow across the Montana sky, the White Raven transforms into a magical world illuminated by delicate lights strung across the trees.
