Foster Creek Farm History

Foster Creek Farm was once part of the Samuel P. Miller homestead, and it has a rich history that dates back to 1890. The original log cabin and outbuildings are still standing, and there is still evidence of the spur line that used to connect ranches north of Belgrade to the northern Pacific railroad. The property was once an integral part of a larger barley and wheat-growing community.

The extensive restoration of the historical barn is the venue’s centerpiece, and it brings together the classic charm and modern elegance of the original grain building. The original log cabin has been renovated into an exquisite suite, and one of the initial log buildings has been converted into a cabin.

The Cabin

This rustic one-room cabin is normally used as the groom getting ready space. The cabin includes a leather couch, chairs, and a mini-fridge. While the space is a bit tight, I love all the furnishings and think it is one of the cooler groom spaces I have seen!

Upgraded Grooms Space coming soon!

While it is not yet on their website, last time I was at Foster Creek Farm I learned that they will be adding a newer and larger grooms suite in 2023/2024. I took a quick tour of the space and while it was not yet finished I was seriously impressed. It featured multiple rooms, a record player, and a lounge area!
