Lauren & Johnny’s Intimate Fall Wedding

I was initially connected with Lauren through Whitney at the Chateau Events Center. From our initially call I knew this would be one of my favorite weddings all year. Their plan was to have an intimate fall wedding surrounded by the beauty of Montana. Lauren and Johnny had met in Las Vegas where she performed as an arialist and Johhny created music for slot machines. Johnny had grown up in Bozeman making a Montana wedding make a lot of sense for them. Also fun fact, Johnny and Whitney had gone to school together.

What stood out to me about this wedding was how relaxed everything was. They had a very intimate wedding. The whole day was a laid-back celebration of each other and their loved ones.

This wedding allowed me to create the following image which won an award from WPJA. For their exit, Lauren had purchased easy clean-up streamers that stay attached to your hands. Each guest grabbed multiple streamers and we prepped for the big exit. Turns out they were a lot bigger than expected. Streamers were everywhere causing Lauren and Johnny to wade through a sea of them to get to their car.
